Fátima was born in Angola and has been living in Canada for two years now. She is in twelfth grade at Forest Lawn High School. While her passion has always been writing, her ultimate dream is to become a doctor and make a positive impact by helping others. As a Peer Mentor in one of the CBFY programs and a member of the YARI-Collective, she feels truly blessed for the opportunities that have come her way. Her aim is to give back and provide guidance to individuals who, like her, are working to navigate their own paths in the face of difficulties.
