Sheema is currently pursuing her law degree from University of Saskatchewan, following an undergraduate degree in Law and Society at the University of Calgary. She wishes to pursue a career as a lawyer in the future. Through working with immigrant and refugee youth over the past few years, she became interested in their lived experiences, particularly in the experiences of Muslim youth in relation to Islamophobia, which is the topic she focussed her honours study on.
